God’s Blue
Sometimes I look around
For one thing that’s true
Seems the world is spinning ’round
With no thought of You
Your mighty works, explained away
You’re given no due
I hear the words the people say
It was out of the blue
You’ll never guess what happened next!
Well I say, I can!
We have a God, an awesome God
And it’s by His hand
Why can’t we see a miracle
For all that it is?
Why call it luck, or destiny?
The plan is all His
Our God’s a sovereign God
He made me and you
And everyday He finds a way
To love us anew
This I know deep in my soul
Eternally true
Every good and gracious gift
Is out of God’s blue
