Last night, as Drew Brees held the Vince Lombardi trophy high above his head, his real victory was the same as it was the night before. His true victory was the same as it was and is for us today. Drew Brees is an outspoken believer, and he has always let it be known that His strength is in Christ Jesus, and there alone lies his victory - there alone lies ours.
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13
Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. Romans 8:37
“God is good!” Drew stated before over 151 million viewers after the win. God is good, in victory and in defeat - a shout amidst the deafening cheers, a still small voice in silence. God is good, and in Him is our strength and our victory.
